“Asian Journal of Criminal Justice and Forensic Studies” welcomes original scholarly manuscripts addressing fundamental and applied issues within the following subject areas:
- criminal law and criminal justice systems in Asia;
- criminal investigation and forensic science;
- emerging and transnational crime threats;
- criminal justice policy and human rights;
- technological innovation in criminology and criminal justice;
- cultural and socio-legal aspects of crime and justice.
Manuscripts must be submitted in English and must meet appropriate standards of academic language and presentation. Each manuscript may have no more than five authors.
The authorship information provided at the time of submission should accurately reflect the contributions made to the manuscript.
Manuscripts may be submitted electronically via the journal’s online submission system or by email to info@asianjustice.kz.
A separate file containing information about all authors must accompany the manuscript. The following details should be provided in English for each author: full name, institutional affiliation, full postal address of the institution, email address, contact telephone number, academic degree, academic or professional position, and ORCID iD.
File names should include the surname of the corresponding author and clearly identify the type of document, for example: Abisheva_Article and Abisheva_Author_Information.
The official date of receipt of a manuscript is the date on which it is received by the Editorial Office through one of the journal’s designated submission channels.
All submitted manuscripts are initially checked for compliance with the journal’s scope, submission requirements and editorial policies. Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned to the authors for revision or declined without proceeding to peer review. The Editorial Office will inform the corresponding author of such a decision.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that manuscripts submitted in English are written to an appropriate academic standard. The use of automated translation or language-support tools is not in itself grounds for rejection; however, authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, clarity, terminology and integrity of the submitted text. Manuscripts whose language quality prevents proper editorial assessment or peer review may be returned for language revision before further consideration.
